For me, the process of capturing an image is very personal. Everyone has a different set of eyes, with perceptions that are influenced by many different factors. Although technically you need to be on your game in photography, there is no such thing as right and wrong. Each time you hit the shutter, you are recording your interpretation of what the object or scene in front of you looks like. Someone told me once that he liked to take photographs of a place to see what they looked like in a picture! The images in this web site document my travels in the southwestern United States, France, and Italy and reflect my interest in architecural landscapes. Each image has been exposed, computer manipulated, and printed by the artist to create an archival inkjet print.
